How Platform Compatibility Works
loqra captures audio from your system (what you hear through your speakers or headphones) and from your microphone. It does not inject anything into the interview platform and does not require any browser extension or host-side installation.
This means loqra works with any platform that runs audio through your operating system — which covers all of the above.
Screen Share Considerations
loqra's overlay is a separate window that appears on top of your other applications. If you are screen sharing during your interview:
- Share a specific window or tab (not your entire desktop) — this ensures the overlay is not visible to the interviewer
- If you must share your entire desktop, move the overlay to a secondary monitor that is not being shared
HireVue and Asynchronous Interviews
HireVue and similar asynchronous platforms (where you record yourself answering questions) typically have explicit policies against external assistance. Review the platform's terms before using loqra in these contexts.
